CREATING CONTENT with adobe spark
Honors Student Council brand guidelines are integrated into our Adobe Spark Account. There are three ways to create a branded post.
1. Choose a template under the "Manage Brand" tab and customize as needed.
2. Choose a Spark template and click "Brandify" under the design tab. With this method,  additional care will be needed to make sure colors and type follow brand guidelines.
3. If you are looking for more control, you can choose "Start from scratch." You can still brandify your creation with this method.
PRO TIP!
Designing content with Adobe Spark is easier on mobile devices. On mobile, there are also extra features like animation for images and text!

Before HSC events
Promotional posts should go out several times before an event. A week before an event, create a short promotional video using the HSC Invitational Spark Video Template and post it to our Facebook and Instagram pages. For repeat events, this video can showcase the success from passed semesters or act as a sneak peak for something completely new. A reminder post should also go the day before and morning of an event. The goal of these posts are to get people excited so use animation and sound when possible. If the posts are boring, students will not show up to the event! 
During HSC events
Live posts should be made on our Instagram and SnapChat Stories during events showcasing students having fun and what the event has to offer. This can increase turnout to the event as it is happening. Be sure to push our hashtags during the event so we can recycle any user generate content for our accounts!
After HSC events
Create a short reflection video using the HSC Reflection Spark Video Template and post it on our Instagram page the following Monday morning. This video should highlight the best parts of the event and tell a story. Students respond better when posts include pictures of themselves and their friends so make sure you give everyone a little love. This is a great opportunity to implement any user generated content from the event. Past reflection posts are also extremely useful when creating new promo/invitational posts.
nonevent posts
Content can also be posted to our Instagram Story on major holidays. Holidays that you would normally wish your friends and family a happy holiday such as Valentine's Day or Thanksgiving should have a post going out to our honors family as well.
